Important update regarding Hardingham Defibrillator

Regarding the recent announcement by the BHF

Hardingham Parish Council needs to stress that, contrary to the recent media release issued by the British Heart Foundation, ALL defibrillators registered via the Community Heartbeat Trust are fully registered with their local ambulance services.

The defibrillator in our village (situated at the Memorial Hall) is registered with the CHT and therefore with our local ambulance service.  It also features on the National Defibrillator Database, and the machine itself undergoes monthly checks by volunteers on the Parish Council and reports are sent electronically to the appropriate governance system.

Please be reassured that our local ambulance service has immediate access to the location of all defibrillators in the area, including our own.

If needed, further information about the BHF’s “misleading” media release can be obtained by contacting richardburke77@gmail.com
