· Retain the rural character of the village

· Promote development which fits the character of the village

· Promote community activities within the village and surrounding areas

· Provide grants and donations to community based activities

· Encourage and assist community activities

· Prepare for future community based projects

· Set aside slice of precept for future projects

· Apply for grants as required

· Prudently manage finances

· Apply "value for money" when spending public money

· Regular audit process

· Be open and transparent about what we do

· Continue to increase transparency & public visibility

· Issue a periodic Newsletter and press releases in Group News

· Maintain and promote awareness of the Website

· Understand and assess the needs of the village

· Continue to seek feedback from parishioners

· Use Newsletter, Website and Group News as a communication vehicle

· Encourage participation in the Annual Parish Meeting

· Improve the security of the village

· Support the neighbourhood watch scheme

· To follow best practice as a parish council

· Maintain an Emergency Plan

· Publish & regularly review a parish plan

· Observe the code of conduct

· Pursue Quality Status
