Hardingham Parish Council is pleased to announce the Defibrillator is up and running. It is situated by the main door on the Memorial Hall.
The council arranged an Awareness Session on Sunday 19th March for the whole village to attend. It was a very informative session.   John Sharples (Hardingham Parish Council Chairman) welcomed people to the Awareness Session and emphasised our gratitude to the Community HeartBeat Trust (for arranging the buying of the equipment and the Awareness Session, with training in how to administer CPR). According to the CHT, the turnout of 36 residents at the session was “considerable” compared to a lot of small communities – well done to Richard Burke and Binny Lenihan for organising this and the fundraising.
Thanks must go to Lucie’s Lifesaving Project, and above all to the residents who contributed to the fund to enable us to install this vital equipment which may save lives in the future. Having AED (defibrillator) in the rural community will help cardiac arrest sufferers get treatment more quickly.
We look forward to the Defibrillator having a long and undisturbed life at the Memorial Hall.
