Do you enjoy reading? If so you may want to think about joining us at Hardingham Book Club.
We are a small group who meet on the last Thursday of each month at the home of one of our members. Quite simply we all read the same book, then meet to share our thoughts and opinions. We don’t engage in ‘high brow’ discussion, you don’t need a degree in English literature!
We set our book list for the year by each member suggesting a book, or books, that they have enjoyed or read good reviews for .We read a variety of genres, mainly fiction but some non-fiction.
There is no pressure to host club meetings. Those who do provide tea, coffee and biscuits.
In January we go to a local pub for our annual dinner and take a wrapped book for a ‘ lucky dip’. In February we will each talk briefly about the book we have read.
The book club gives us the opportunity to explore new authors and genres, widening our reading experience.
